We send a quick sketch. A 50% deposit holds your date in the diary.

Baked & finished
Sponges are baked fresh, filled and finished by hand the day before you collect.
Collect or delivered
Pick it up from the studio on a Saturday, or we deliver and set up within 15 miles.

Most cakes are finished on the morning you collect them. Scroll to watch a baking day go by.
The first sponges go in while Walcot is still asleep.
Every layer rests on the rack before it's trimmed and filled.
Swiss meringue is whipped, jams go in, sides are smoothed.
Boxed with a ribbon. The studio door opens at ten.
